ฟูจิตสึ รุ่น Lifebook U1010 อัลตร้าโมบายพีซี (UMPC) ไม่ได้เป็นแค่คอมพิวเตอร์พกพา ที่มาพร้อมกับประสิทธิภาพการทำงานล่าสุดเท่านั้น แต่ยังให้ประสิทธิภาพความบันเทิง ที่มีรูปร่างเพรียวบางเล็กที่สุดในโลกเพียง 0.6 กิโลกรัม หน้าจอแอลซีดีบางเพียง 0.3 มิลลิเมตร โดยได้รับแรงบันดาลใจจากการสร้างสรรค์อนาคต เหมาะสำหรับกลุ่มผู้ใช้มืออาชีพโดยเฉพาะ ทั้งนี้แม้จะมีขนาดเล็กแต่ก็มีขุมพลังในการรองรับระบบปฏิบัติการ วินโดวส์ วิสต้า โฮม พรีเมี่ยม จึงรับได้ทั้งงานเอกสาร การประชุมทางไกล ท่องอินเทอร์เน็ต หรือดูหนังฟังเพลง และอื่นได้สารพัด

Lifebook U1010 ยังมาพร้อมกับการออกแบบรูปโฉมปุ่มคียบอร์ดใหม่ ที่มีการเรียงพยัญชนะ แบบแป้นพิมพ์มาตรฐาน แม้ว่าจะมีความบางเพียง 0.02 มม. บนแผงอลูมินัม หน้าจอแอลซีดีระบบสัมผัสสามารถหมุนได้ 180 องศา ใช้งานได้ทั้งนิ้วมือและปากกาสไตลลัส มีระบบป้องกันความลับส่วนตัว Trust Module Platform: TPM และระบบล็อคไบออส 2 ชั้น ระบบสแกนลายนิ้วมือ จึงมั่นใจได้ในความปลอดภัย ส่วนระบบประมวลผลใช้แพลตฟอร์มของอินเทล ตัวล่าสุดที่กินพลังงานต่ำน้อยกว่าแพลตฟอร์มรุ่นเดิมหลายเท่า ทำให้ช่วยยืดอายุแบตเตอรีให้ใช้ได้นานขึ้น จากแบตเตอรี 2 เซลที่ใช้งานได้นานประมาณ 3 ชั่วโมง
